Position Overview

We are in search of an outstanding Program Director to lead and enhance the execution of complex AI data projects within a significant client portfolio or service vertical. This role emphasizes operational excellence and seamless delivery, collaborating closely with our Business Development team to drive revenue growth through superior client outcomes.

You will assume ultimate responsibility for project execution across a substantial portfolio, ensuring that every delivery surpasses client expectations in quality while adhering to timelines and gross margin targets. By closely engaging with client researchers, C-level stakeholders, and product, data, and engineering teams, you will be the pivotal force that transforms business development success into tangible delivered value.

The ideal candidate will bring a background from a Big 3 consulting firm, combined with practical technical experience in software engineering and modern AI technologies (including LLMs, ML, and data platforms).

Databricks for Good is designed to empower organizations tackling humanity's most urgent challenges, from crisis response to educational advancement, health improvement, and climate action.This position offers the chance to define and lead our mission, shaping how Databricks makes a difference in the world through impactful, real-world initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and lead Databricks for Good, outlining its mission, success metrics, execution strategy, and long-term vision.Design and implement impactful programs, including social impact partnerships, hackathons, university initiatives, and nonprofit enablement strategies.Act as a public ambassador for Databricks for Good, hosting events, delivering speeches, moderating discussions, and representing Databricks in global social impact forums.Manage the partnership funnel for Databricks for Good technical engagements, focusing on enabling nonprofits to utilize Databricks for solving real-world challenges.Develop engaging content such as case studies, articles, and educational resources that showcase the potential of data and AI for social good.Collaborate across departments including Field Engineering, Developer Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Sales to ensure that social impact initiatives are scalable, technically robust, and aligned with company objectives.Serve as an internal advisor on social impact use cases, helping teams understand the needs and operational realities of mission-driven organizations.Continuously gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to refine and enhance program effectiveness.
