The Program Manager will oversee the execution of task orders for a government client, guaranteeing that all program and project activities align with cost, schedule, and performance objectives while adhering to DoD, DISA, and Federal policies and standards. This role demands proactive management of personnel, resources, deliverables, and communications to achieve operational excellence and mission success. The Program Manager will be the primary liaison between the Contractor and Government leadership, responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all task order activities.
This is an onsite role located within the National Capital Region. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to work onsite full time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive program management to ensure technical solutions and timelines are executed effectively.
- Conduct enterprise-level horizontal integration planning and collaborate with other functional systems.
- Deliver full-spectrum program and project management in alignment with DoD and DISA standards and the J6 Unified Framework (UF).
- Manage all task order activities, ensuring performance objectives are met and deliverables are submitted punctually.
- Establish and maintain a robust program management framework to facilitate effective coordination across all task areas.
- Maintain accountability for task performance, staffing levels, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Lead the creation and implementation of Program Management Plans, Task Area Management Plans, and related progress reports.
- Ensure all projects are tracked and updated weekly in the Government’s Project Management tool (ProMIS).
- Supervise contractor personnel across various task areas; provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Ensure alignment of staffing with customer requirements, assigning qualified personnel with appropriate clearances.
