Minimum Qualifications Required:At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Completion of an Associate’s degree. Additional qualifying experience exceeding the minimum requirements may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Proficiency in using business enterprise software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in project accounting. Background in the construction industry.

Join The Tsui Group as a Project Accountant III, where your expertise in educational facility construction projects will play a pivotal role in supporting a significant educational client within Los Angeles County. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with fellow bond program team members to manage cost and invoice commitments, as well as expenditure matters.
  • Acting as the go-to expert for invoice processing among bond program team members.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to bond program team members and vendors alike.
  • Effectively working with other personnel in the bond program to resolve any invoice payment issues and secure necessary authorizations.
  • Reviewing Bond Program invoices and processing approved payments following established accounting procedures.
  • Ensuring invoices are processed in line with program standard operating procedures.
  • Communicating with construction and professional services vendors as required.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing vendor files and supporting documentation for payments.
  • Assisting in the analysis of general contractor payments.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies or inconsistencies in invoice documentation promptly.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Processing and reviewing district-wide invoices and other related invoices as needed.
