Project Controller (PCO)

Apside Canada is seeking a skilled Project Controller (PCO) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an experienced candidate in project management, particularly with a strong focus on cost control and significant experience in project oversight.

Main Responsibilities

• Establish precise cost control through regular reviews with the project manager and consistent updates of project control tools;

• Collaborate with the project manager to forecast expenditures for the current year and subsequent years;

• Challenge forecasts to ensure accuracy;

• Implement cost transfers as needed for the project;

• Monitor project schedule adherence against actual expenditures, commitments, and budget forecasts;

• Ensure project execution aligns with the risk management plan;

• Maintain project alignment with the initial approved scope;

• Track DA/PO through SAP;

• Oversee invoice tracking via SAP;

• Prepare and support the project manager for monthly updates;

• Assist the project manager in overall project management;

• Identify and analyze deviations, proposing change requests as needed;

• Report updates through various dashboards;

• Capitalize on activities for continuous improvement.
