About the job
Every day, thousands of people in the Netherlands rely on intelligent traffic signal systems, dynamic traffic management systems, and connections via (motor)ways, tunnels, locks, and bridges. Behind this infrastructure is Vialis: we ensure that these assets are not only optimally delivered but also remain in top condition. This guarantees safe mobility and smooth traffic flow for all.
Our strength lies in fully relieving our clients, from design to maintenance, and we possess all the expertise to realize complex projects integrally. At Vialis, we work on challenging Product-Market Combinations such as Bridges, Locks & Dams, Tunnels, Dynamic Traffic Management, and Airports. Each of these projects plays a vital role in keeping the Netherlands moving.
To make this possible, predictability and control over processes are one of our key pillars. Do you enjoy working in a dynamic organization that is constantly evolving? Are you energized by creating financial stability and certainty, especially when things are changing? Then this role is for you!
What will you do?
As a Project Controller at Vialis, you are a crucial link in the project team. You not only maintain control over the numbers but actively contribute to the project's success. You collaborate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, project managers, and external partners. Together, you realize complex infrastructural projects within our PMCs: Bridges, Locks & Dams, Tunnels, Dynamic Traffic Management, and Airports.
Your responsibilities include:
Guiding within the project team: You are involved in contractual issues, commercial opportunities and risks, and personnel allocation.
Providing financial analyses: You create clear reports and offer insights into forecasts, liquidity, and additional work.
Monitoring risks and opportunities: You identify threats and advise on control measures.
Conducting ad-hoc analyses: You assess financial results in relation to planning and translate this into concrete advice.
Being a sparring partner: You support the project team with your expertise and ensure we are always 'in control'.
