As we aim to further enhance our technical organization, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer R&D. In this pivotal role, you will lead and execute technical innovation projects with a strong emphasis on automation and the development of new production lines. You will manage projects from inception to completion, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Your responsibilities will include drafting project plans, monitoring progress, and managing stakeholder expectations. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the technical development and optimization of processes and machines. You will liaise frequently with internal colleagues from tooling, maintenance, and operations, serving as the primary point of contact for external partners. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, your role will be central to our technical advancements.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical foundation and extensive experience in leading engineering projects. A completed HBO/HTS degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics is a plus) and around 8 years of relevant work experience are essential. Familiarity with methodical design processes and proficiency in tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD are required. Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English are necessary.
