Job Overview
Olsson provides a comprehensive range of water and wastewater services, covering planning, design, permitting, and construction phases. Our top priority is maintaining water quality, and we respond to a diverse array of client needs with efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
As a Project Engineer specializing in Water/Wastewater, you will utilize your engineering expertise to tackle a variety of projects. You will independently solve engineering challenges on smaller assignments while collaborating with team members on wastewater collection and treatment, as well as water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution projects. Typical responsibilities include working on sanitary sewer systems, wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities, water piping, supply wells, storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed engineering tasks including project design, cost estimation, and calculations.
- Draft project documentation while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget to achieve project goals.
- Independently manage complex assignments requiring innovative techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure design execution aligns with objectives, reporting progress and potential challenges.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss project updates and requirements.
- Oversee and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
- Coordinate with Olsson's technical teams and clients to deliver optimal solutions.
