Role overview
The Project Engineering Manager leads projects that strengthen the minerals supply chain for the energy transition. This role manages design processes, fosters communication between internal teams and external engineering partners, and keeps projects moving efficiently from concept through delivery. Regular collaboration across teams and clear progress updates are central to this position.
What you will do
- Direct engineering activities across internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Develop project-level designs and maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation.
- Oversee review and approval workflows for engineering documents, vendor submissions, and project deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-discipline reviews with process, mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and construction teams.
- Track engineering deliverables and action items, using logs and trackers to keep projects on schedule.
- Lead technical interface management, resolving issues between disciplines, vendors, and EPC partners.
- Organize model reviews, design reviews, and coordination meetings. Capture action items and follow up to completion.
- Contribute feedback to improve digital project-execution tools and help automate workflows for better project visibility.
