The Project Integrity Engineer will play a vital role in supporting offshore projects and life-extension initiatives by delivering essential marine and structural engineering expertise. This position centers on project execution, ensuring offshore readiness, conducting integrity assessments, performing inspections, overseeing repairs, and providing Management of Change (MOC) support to guarantee the safe and compliant implementation of structural and marine modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in concept selection, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and execution phases of offshore brownfield and life-extension projects.
- Offer marine and structural engineering expertise for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units and other offshore structures.
- Convert engineering deliverables into actionable offshore execution scopes, including work packs, methodologies, inspection strategies, and lifting/installation philosophies.
- Collaborate with classification societies, marine warranty surveyors, and inspection vendors on structural and marine issues.
- Review and approve structural analysis reports, integrity assessments, repair plans, reinforcement strategies, and life-extension studies.
- Assist in offshore campaigns that involve inspections, repairs, modifications, installations, or remediation works.
- Work in close coordination with marine, construction, operations, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) teams to ensure offshore readiness and safe execution.
- Provide engineering support for the structural integrity, reassessment, and life-extension of offshore assets.
- Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) processes associated with structural and marine modifications.
- Analyze inspection findings and determine necessary repair, reinforcement, or mitigation actions.
- Support troubleshooting efforts during offshore anomalies, impacts, or structural damage events.
- Document lessons learned from offshore activities and integrate them into project practices and design standards.
