Your Mission:
The Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for structuring and managing the project portfolio of the Digital Department (DSI) to ensure effective management of priorities, resources, and capacities. The PMO ensures project alignment with strategic objectives, optimizes resource allocation, and establishes rigorous tracking practices for workload and capacities. This role is essential for structuring the Digital Department and enhancing planning, visibility, and efficiency amid transformation.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Project Portfolio Management:
Define and structure the project portfolio based on the organization's strategic priorities and ensure its tracking.
Implement and guarantee governance practices to manage projects and ensure coherence with the DSI's overall objectives.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to validate project prioritization, budgets, and timelines.
2. Workload and Capacity Management:
Oversee and optimize resource allocation based on the needs and priorities of the portfolio.
Establish short, medium, and long-term workload and capacity forecasts to ensure a balance between available resources and project needs.
Analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actuals, propose adjustments, and collaborate with managers to improve resource planning.
3. Project Performance Monitoring:
Establish performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress, risks, costs, and quality of projects within the portfolio.
Produce regular reports for management to provide visibility on the status of the portfolio, critical projects, and capacity constraints.
4. Improvement of Project Management Practices:
Continuously enhance project management methodologies and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
