This position plays a key role in expanding Olsson’s presence in Missouri and supports a variety of transportation projects, including bridge design, retaining walls, dams, and rehabilitation of existing structures. The Bridge group works with both public and private clients throughout the Midwest, handling projects such as grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings.
Role overview
The Project Manager leads the Bridge team, overseeing the delivery of complex and high-priority projects. This role blends project leadership with business development, focusing on growing the client base and strengthening the group’s capabilities in the region. Collaboration across multiple teams is often required to meet project goals.
Primary responsibilities
- Grow the client base and expand the bridge group’s market presence in Missouri.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress to meet financial and timeline targets.
- Manage complex contract negotiations for bridge and infrastructure projects.
- Assemble and manage project teams, coordinating resources and team member availability.
- Mentor and support team members’ professional development, encouraging collaboration and skill growth.
