Qualifications
Proven experience in managing multiple store development projects from initiation to completion. Strong leadership skills to define and communicate project tasks effectively, ensuring all milestones are tracked throughout the project lifecycle. Ability to coordinate with Real Estate stakeholders on leasing agreements, landlord scope of work, and project schedules to meet lease obligations. Skilled in developing and managing project milestone schedules and budgets based on input from all partners. Act as Owner Representative, supervising project partners such as General Contractors, Foodservice partners, and Consultants during planning and construction. Collaborate with the Project Accountant to monitor project costs, ensuring timely payment of contracts and invoices, providing weekly cost reports. Excellent problem-solving skills to communicate roadblocks to the Director of Construction and leverage partners for resolution. Facilitate seamless project handover to Facilities and Operations, ensuring they are well-equipped for a successful store reopening. Implement best practices based on lessons learned and stakeholder feedback throughout all projects.

Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with internal teams, external contractors, and Operations to ensure successful project execution from the planning phase to construction and store reopening.
In this position, you will be responsible for project scheduling, budgeting, permit submissions, administration, and quality control. Your goal will be to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the high standards of JOEY Restaurant Group. This role is based in-office in Vancouver with occasional travel to project sites.
