This role is based in Pomona, California, and offers a Hybrid-Remote work model, requiring you to be in the office/field on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
As a Project Manager for one of Southern California's largest utility companies, you will oversee electric infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with internal teams and external customers. This position is part of the Construction & Technical Support (C&TS) organization, which is responsible for managing Transmission and Distribution projects. Given the anticipated increase in project volume and complexity, your role will be crucial in ensuring these projects are managed with the utmost care and precision, particularly in light of the scrutiny from regulators and other stakeholders.
Your mission as a Project Manager will be to enhance project success rates by effectively applying project management principles, methodologies, tools, and standards. You will leverage your certification as a Professional Project Manager and your extensive experience across various functions within the organization.

- Manage diverse projects and programs within the organization, including the relocation of existing facilities and small civil capital projects.
- Oversee project cost management involving budgeting, forecasting, and tracking trends.
- Handle 5-10 active projects, coordinating contractors and material procurement efficiently.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, maintaining project plans, reports, and technical documentation.
- Lead the planning, monitoring, and management of complex, multi-year initiatives involving various departments such as Finance, Regulatory, HR, Engineering, and Transmission.
