At PM2CM, Inc. (Project Management to Construction Management), we specialize in delivering exceptional Program and Project Management, Construction Management, and Project Controls services during the design and construction phases of projects. Our primary focus lies in Project Controls, encompassing Scheduling, Cost Controls, Document Management and Controls, Budget Tracking and Monitoring, Estimating, Risk Analysis, Claims Avoidance and Mitigation, Change Management, and Earned Value Management.

This position is based in Pomona, California, with a Hybrid-Remote work schedule (in-office/field on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Join us as a Project Manager at one of the largest utility companies in Southern California, overseeing electric infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the Construction & Technical Support (C&TS) organization, working closely with our customers and internal teams. This organization is responsible for managing Transmission and Distribution projects, which are expected to increase in volume, size, complexity, and strategic importance over the coming years. Given the high visibility of these initiatives among regulators, public and environmental agencies, and key customers, precise and consistent management is essential. As a Project Manager, your efforts will contribute to powering our planet, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering cleaner air for everyone. A day in the life - Prepare to think big, work smart, and shine bright!

  • Manage projects and programs within the organization, including the relocation of existing facilities, small civil capital projects, licensing support for projects in the Major Project Organization, and compliance and maintenance initiatives.
  • Update project documentation across various software systems, prioritizing and organizing data effectively.
  • Initiate and issue critical documentation such as Authorization to Proceed (ATP), Release to Construct (RTC), letters, agreements, contracts, trends, and work order requests as required.
  • Evaluate submissions, ensuring project/program files are comprehensive and adhere to established processes and procedures.
  • Oversee project closeout and reconciliation processes upon completion.
  • Schedule and lead internal and external meetings, producing agendas, meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Handle regulatory and legal matters related to the project, including compliance with prevailing wage laws, Buy America mandates, and California Public Utilities Commission requirements.
