Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (B. E/B. Tech). Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are a plus. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a construction consultancy within India. Demonstrated experience working on Data Center projects is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

About the job

Oversee the entire lifecycle of Data Center projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, fire alarm systems, plumbing, and fire fighting.
Support technical design briefs, analyze designs, and coordinate efforts among multiple vendors.
Experience with sustainability initiatives, such as LEED certification and related concepts.
Review MEP specifications, interpret contracts, and engage in technical and commercial negotiations with vendors.
Lead and supervise a team, coordinating onsite MEP construction activities effectively.
Review and analyze MEP drawings and material schedules, supervising site activities to control costs and ensure timely project completion.
Coordinate all electro-mechanical activities with clients, consultants, suppliers, site engineers, and subcontractors, including checking and preparing Variation Orders (VO) and conducting negotiations.
Provide clear interpretations of plans, project scope, detail sheets, and specifications for MEP contractors and engineers to ensure mutual understanding of the project.
