Role Summary
The Project Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the complete operational delivery of Workplace Technology Solutions projects. This position ensures projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to quality standards, while also maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The role serves as a crucial link between sales, engineering, procurement, and service teams to facilitate the smooth implementation of AV, UC, smart workplace, and digital collaboration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Operations Oversight
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from handover (post-sales) to final commissioning and client approval.
- Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to scope and budget constraints.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk management registers.
- Track operational KPIs to ensure project profitability.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Installation teams.
- Facilitate smooth project transitions from pre-sales to execution phases.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges and escalate issues as needed.
Financial Management
- Oversee project costs, maintain margin and budget compliance.
- Approve purchase requisitions and assess vendor performance.
- Document and manage change orders and variation requests.
Vendor and Partner Relations
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Conduct performance assessments for key vendors.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace technology standards and safety regulations.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes.
- Initiate continuous improvement programs.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary operational liaison for key enterprise clients.
- Conduct project reviews and provide status updates.
- Manage client expectations to achieve high customer satisfaction scores.
