Job Title: Proposal Technical Writer
Location: Hybrid McLean, VA
SUMMARY
The Proposal Technical Writer plays a pivotal role within our Growth team, propelling our success and securing wins. This role involves crafting technical and management content for federal proposals, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements and our winning strategy. The writer collaborates with subject matter experts to transform complex solutions into engaging narratives, editing and refining drafts for clarity, compliance, and consistency. This position requires the ability to handle multiple proposal efforts simultaneously under tight deadlines.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create clear, concise, and persuasive proposal sections and related documents that adhere to RFP requirements while meeting corporate standards for quality and format, following corporate style guidelines with minimal need for editing.
· Collaborate with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document and articulate solutions effectively, providing compelling proof points and corporate experience examples that showcase the benefits of our offerings in the proposal texts.
· Engage in a collaborative team environment to express solutions and strategies, detailing our work approach, experience, win themes, and differentiators.
· Utilize strong communication and interviewing skills to gather necessary information from internal and external stakeholders to support the writing process.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance proposal quality.
· Efficiently utilize existing documentation and proposal materials to address recurring content inquiries and create customized proposal responses.
· Manage multiple assignments concurrently, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines and production requirements.
· Maintain a library of approved proposal content for future use.
