Responsibilities:Lead the design, analysis, development, sequencing, and operational tasks for Raptor ignition and transient systems. Ensure successful hardware design and compliance with production targets while guaranteeing reliable engine operations from startup to shutdown. Facilitate collaboration among team members through informal leadership and self-directed organization, assigning responsibilities and ensuring accountability. Work closely with engineers and technicians across various disciplines, including production, development testing, and vehicle systems, to meet high-level objectives. Drive hardware design changes and transient sequence modifications to enhance reliability, performance, and vehicle architecture success. Establish and verify requirements for hardware and transient systems, ensuring proper interfacing. Develop and participate in test operations to qualify engines for flight readiness. Create and review test plans, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively to relevant teams. Conduct data reviews of test and flight operations, identify trends, and provide critical operational limits and go/no-go decisions. Support high launch cadence through automation of analysis for test and flight data.

PROPULSION ENGINEER (RAPTOR DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS) 

We are seeking a passionate Propulsion Engineer to lead the development, production, and operational management of the engine ignition system, transient sequences, and related combustion devices. You will be pivotal in ensuring the successful ignition and shutdown of our engines throughout all flight phases, working on the most advanced full-flow staged combustion engine designed for the largest launch vehicle in history.
