Fulfill approved vessel requisitions for provisions, hotel equipment, and consumables. Create, obtain approval for, and dispatch purchase orders to designated suppliers. Coordinate order fulfillment and delivery with vendors. Match invoices to purchase orders to verify that pack sizes, quantities, and pricing are correct for vessel receipts. Manage the storage schedule in the purchasing system for assigned vessels, including local and container orders. Maintain and organize 'Commercial Invoices' across multiple warehouses to ensure accurate delivery details. Communicate requisition status, fulfillment, and delivery details with vessels. Resolve discrepancies for vessels, obtaining credits as necessary. Manage administrative tasks, including order tracking and invoice matching to confirm completeness and accuracy of deliveries. Assist in updating and improving product specifications. Evaluate sources of supplies and identify new suppliers in local ports.
