Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Cygnus Professionals Inc. This role is vital in designing, piloting, and implementing our software quality assurance review process, ensuring that development teams efficiently test software quality prior to production deployment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively participating throughout the entire software testing cycle related to the project.
- Collaborating closely with the QA Manager and following their guidance.
- Helping to set and meet quality goals and objectives for the project.
- Contributing to all aspects of quality assurance, including defining metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to achieve quality standards.
- In conjunction with the QA Manager and team, developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (both manual and automated).
- Testing updates, patches, and repairs to application software in development, test, and QA environments, ensuring software changes adhere to the best practices outlined by the ODPS ITO.
- Taking corrective actions, pending ODPS Management approval, to resolve issues and problems encountered during testing to confirm that applications meet performance requirements.
