We are currently seeking an inquisitive, analytical, and proactive Quality Assurance Intern to join our In-Person Payments team!

Your Role

This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about understanding complex systems, who enjoys exploring the 'why' behind processes, and desires practical experience in testing real-world payment solutions utilized by customers daily.

Our Payments team provides smart and secure solutions for businesses, facilitating everything from online transactions to point-of-sale systems, ensuring that payments are seamless and trustworthy. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA team members to ensure our payment systems are reliable, user-friendly, and of the highest quality. This internship is based in Amsterdam and is designed to last between 6 to 12 months, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual QA tests for in-person payment flows, including terminals, POS systems, platform integrations;

  • Gain insights into our payment systems from a systems-thinking perspective and test them comprehensively;

  • Document, report, and communicate bugs, edge cases, and other issues effectively;
