Are you an adept and detail-oriented Test Engineer passionate about ensuring software quality and reliability? Join our dynamic team at grvty, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional software products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts derived from software requirements and specifications.
  • Conducting functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing to validate software integrity.
  • Tracking, reporting, and addressing software defects and issues using industry-standard bug tracking tools such as Jira and GitLab.
  • Collaborating with various development teams and utilizing diverse tools to enhance product quality.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in functional/system-level software testing, particularly within Linux environments.
  • Strong command of Linux command line, including stability checks, performance assessments, requirements validation, and forensic analysis.
  • Experience in creating and managing virtual machines and Docker containers.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Direct collaboration with development teams to interpret software requirements and formulate test plans and cases from the outset.
  • A genuine interest in working within a fast-paced, small team environment supporting multiple development initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles.
