Key ResponsibilitiesIncoming InspectionOversee dimensional and visual inspections of incoming parts, materials, and assembliesEnsure compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and purchase order requirementsCreate and maintain incoming inspection plans and related documentationCollaborate with supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to address nonconformities and supplier issuesIn-Process & Production InspectionFacilitate production inspections and authorize critical manufacturing and assembly operationsSet up inspection checkpoints across fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and integration stagesAssist with first article inspections and configuration verification for new product launchesGuarantee traceability, documentation integrity, and adherence to internal quality systemsPartner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure inspection processes align with production demandsMetrology & Calibration ManagementOversee the metrology department, including CMMs, measurement equipment, gauges, and specialized toolsDevelop and manage calibration programs for inspection tools and measurement systemsEnsure equipment accuracy, traceability, and compliance with internal standardsMaintain calibration records and equipment management systemsAssess and implement advanced inspection technologies and measurement systems

Radiant Industries is actively seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager to spearhead dimensional inspection, in-process production inspection, and metrology operations across a wide range of hardware, including mechanical, structural, electrical, and power-generation systems. This pivotal role will focus on the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive inspection systems that guarantee all hardware meets design specifications, internal standards, and quality requirements from the moment of receipt through to final assembly.
