About the job

At Logos Space, we are pioneering a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system tailored to meet the connectivity demands of commercial enterprises and government entities. Our mission is to bridge a vital market gap by delivering robust, high-performance satellite-based connectivity solutions to clients worldwide. Our business partners will benefit from contracts that stipulate precise performance standards for broadband, which we will integrate into our system from the outset. The foundation of our operation lies in speed and reliability, with the ability to extend cloud and data center network connectivity globally to fixed, maritime, and aviation terminals.

Our team consists of seasoned engineers with extensive expertise in both the networking and satellite sectors.

Position Summary & Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Quality Engineering Lead to spearhead our quality strategy for the LEO satellite constellation, particularly in a high-rate production environment. This pivotal operations leadership role involves establishing and managing quality metrics at various levels, including suppliers, bus partners, and payload assembly. The perfect candidate will work collaboratively with suppliers, external bus partners, and contract manufacturers. This position demands a data-driven mindset focused on quality, highlighting process control and readiness, while making informed decisions to balance production schedules with mission risks—moving past the conventional testing paradigms typical in space production. You will play a crucial role in assuring both production and mission readiness through stringent prototype testing and in-line quality oversight.

We seek individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, capable of transforming ambiguous requirements into actionable plans that align with Logos' product objectives. If you enjoy tackling challenging problems, take initiative, and possess a strong sense of ownership over your tasks, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality System Management: Develop and oversee essential quality metrics, such as Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) levels, yields, and validation protocols for all supplier components, bus production/integration, and payload assemblies.

  • Supplier & Partner Quality: Drive quality collaboration with key suppliers to define, implement, and audit in-line quality production points, ensuring consistency with production schedules.

  • Production Readiness: Define and carry out prototype testing...
