Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in economics, statistics, finance, physics, mathematics, or related quantitative disciplines. At least 2-3 years of professional experience in model validation, development, quantitative research, or quantitative auditing. Proficiency in English (mandatory)Experience in the development or validation of Pricing and Risk models (including Stress Testing models, IMM/EEPE, and IMA models). Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Capability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders at all seniority levels. Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Capacity to manage the demands of a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines. Self-driven with the ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced programming skills in languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, SQL, VBA, R, etc.

Join our dynamic CUSO Model Validation team as a seasoned Quantitative Analyst within the Model Risk Management (MRM) division at Natixis. The MRM Group is pivotal in overseeing Model Validation, Model Risk Assessment, and comprehensive Model Risk Management initiatives across the Natixis Group.

In this role, you will be entrusted with the independent validation of diverse models employed throughout the organization to evaluate and quantify model risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the model validation processes ensuring compliance with internal standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Engage collaboratively with various business units and key support functions within the organization.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of models focusing on data integrity, parameters, design methodologies, implementation accuracy, and documentation quality.

  • Organize the validation process for each model, present findings to Committees, and monitor the remediation actions that may be required.
