This role focuses on providing the DCS G-8 and the Force Development Directorates with targeted analytic subject matter expertise and programmatic support in force development processes, analysis, integration, information and tactical data systems, force modernization, and the equipment fielding process essential for the Army's operations.The Senior ORSA will be instrumental in supporting the Warfighting Analysis Division. Responsibilities will include leading data collection initiatives, offering expert guidance, managing databases, conducting in-depth analytical studies, exploring alternative courses of action, and delivering actionable findings and recommendations. This will encompass surveying personnel involved in various aspects of army force readiness and specialized knowledge. The Senior ORSA will utilize optimization software such as SAS and present visual data using Qlik and/or Tableau to model modernization, resourcing, equipment distribution, and readiness. Additionally, they will brief senior leadership on key recommendations, lead objective analyses, assess capabilities, evaluate alternatives, and review policies regarding materiel affordability and investment, ensuring alignment with strategic direction, doctrine concepts, force development, modernization, requirements, and readiness.This position is based in the National Capital Region at a client site and is contingent upon client approval and contract award.

The DCS G-8 serves as the primary military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) during the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. This role requires coordination with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) concerning all programming and process recommendations linked to ongoing and future acquisition programs as well as science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 also collaborates with the Army Futures Command (AFC) to secure program funding for all aspects of future force material modernization.The ideal candidate will possess the analytical expertise and programmatic support necessary for force development, analysis, integration, information management, tactical data systems, and equipment fielding processes. Responsibilities will include integration, prioritization, experimentation, testing and evaluation, alongside science and technology assessments. Project tasks involve validation, resource sourcing, prioritization, analysis, stakeholder engagement, configuration management research, strategy development, and administrative support.This position is based in the National Capital Region (NCR) with a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week at the client location and the remainder at Dexis offices.
