Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quantitative research or data-centric role within financial markets, preferably in a systematic trading setting. Demonstrated experience with a wide array of trading and financial data. Prior knowledge of options markets and experience handling options data is essential. Hands-on experience in integrating and analyzing non-market data sources is advantageous. Strong grasp of the data vendor landscape. Advanced proficiency in Python programming. Experience with databases (SQL) and efficient handling of large datasets. Familiarity with real-time data systems and processing tick-level data. Understanding of statistical and machine learning methodologies. Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who possesses extensive experience in curating and analyzing diverse trading-related data sources, including traditional market data and fundamental datasets. This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge trading strategies, facilitating data-driven decisions, and collaborating with our trading, technology, and data acquisition teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate, cleanse, and validate extensive volumes of market data, with a primary focus on US equity and equity options.
  • Integrate, preprocess, and evaluate both fundamental and alternative data sources.
  • Collaborate with the data acquisition and global data teams to ensure high data quality.
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines for both research and live trading operations.
  • Conduct data analysis and statistical modeling to detect market patterns and inefficiencies.
  • Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of datasets used in quantitative modeling.
  • Document research methodologies, data provenance, and findings with exceptional clarity and reproducibility.
  • Work alongside software engineers and traders to convert research into production-ready models and tools.
  • Perform quantitative research and analysis to support and refine trading strategies.
