Key Responsibilities:
As the R&D Manager of Development Operations, you will lead a diverse team of R&D engineers with various technical backgrounds, working collaboratively to support the development, testing, and delivery of the technology essential for providing fusion energy globally.
Your team will collaborate closely with other technical departments, including Engineering, Production, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, and Science. R&D Dev Ops engineers will spearhead testing and development initiatives required to validate engineering designs and promote the advancement of next-generation technologies. You will report directly to our R&D manager at our Everett, WA office.
Your Role Will Include:
- Overseeing the design and execution of technology testing and development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of rigorous testing results by allocating engineering resources effectively.
- Collaborating with peer leaders to drive cross-functional development initiatives, setting a high standard for effective teamwork and communication across departments.
- Advocating for your team’s initiatives to senior leaders, articulating their significance and securing alignment and support from stakeholders.
- Mentoring individual contributors in their career development, providing guidance to help them grow professionally.
