We are seeking a skilled Radiation Engineer for Space Electronics to join our mission. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the radiation resilience of our electronic digital and analog systems, which are essential for our capsule's successful flights.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and validate C code for Microcontrollers, adhering to space quality standards and adjusting it for radiation testing.

  • Verify VHDL code to ensure all necessary functionalities in FPGAs are validated and modified for radiation testing.

  • Collaborate with the design team to create analog and digital circuit boards with FPGAs and Microcontrollers, recommending mitigation strategies against radiation effects to enhance design reliability.

  • Establish test setups for the radiation qualification of completed analog and digital engineering models of flight hardware.

Key Responsibilities

As a Radiation Engineer for Space Electronics, your responsibilities will include:

  • Programming microcontrollers, analyzing existing code, and conducting verification.

  • Designing and verifying FPGAs using VHDL.

  • Working closely with Systems Engineers to comprehend system functions, devising effective test setups, and ensuring the implementation of mitigation strategies during radiation tests.

  • Creating monitoring software for the system during radiation exposure.

  • Developing and modifying test scripts in Python for automation purposes.

What We Seek

We hope to find a candidate who possesses:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Proven experience in programming microcontrollers and FPGA design, particularly in space applications.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
