Key Responsibilities:Design and enhance operational procedures that effectively integrate software and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Work closely with engineers to refine operator interfaces, procedural workflows, and software tools. Achieve operator qualification to gain direct experience, ensuring procedures align with practical execution. Assist in the testing and iterative enhancement of digital twin scenarios, operator systems, and human-machine interfaces. Guarantee compliance with DOE and NRC regulations, maintaining high standards of formatting, clarity, and usability in procedural documentation. Essential Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. A minimum of 2 years of full-time professional experience in engineering problem-solving, including system design, analysis, or testing. Expertise in managing or optimizing complex hardware and software processes for testing and operations. Capability to apply first principles thinking to address challenges and make decisions in uncertain or ambiguous circumstances. Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience as an operator in nuclear environments (e.g., nuclear energy, naval reactors, or radiation-controlled facilities), with knowledge of safety protocols.
