The Recruiting Associate role at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) is a pivotal client service position that serves as the foundation of our organization. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with clients in the financial services sector—including public equity, private equity, and private credit—to support their critical decision-making processes. Your efforts will contribute to creating tailored learning solutions, which encompass phone consultations, one-on-one meetings, surveys, reports, and site tours with leading experts and C-suite executives.
As a Recruiting Associate, you will work within diverse teams and industries, effectively linking clients with insights from renowned professionals, including doctors, academics, scientists, policy specialists, strategists, and executives, all of whom possess extensive practical experience. This role will also enable you to develop into a subject matter expert across various industries and topics through your client service engagement.
Initially, your comprehensive training will equip you with essential skills, including:
- Expanding GLG Councils while articulating GLG’s value proposition and business model to industry thought leaders.
- Daily engagement with Council Members to assess their expertise and capabilities concerning specific client requests.
- Providing support to senior team members in all facets of client engagements.
- Learning and adhering to our compliance policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity of client interactions.
As you progress in your role, you will gain greater autonomy through:
- Executing custom projects across client firms, including consultations, surveys, and specialized projects.
- Continuing to expand GLG Councils.
- Engaging with clients daily to discern their needs and deliver outstanding service.
- Assuming accountability for client projects and ensuring an excellent client experience.
- Collaborating with our Business Development team to explore revenue growth opportunities and maintain existing account retention.
- Working closely with senior team members to curate live event content for Greater China, as well as broader virtual event content.
