Qualifications

What you’ll achieve:Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing for new features and services across our product and internal applications. Evaluate software for application security vulnerabilities using diverse assessment techniques, including penetration testing. Manage and remediate vulnerabilities identified through our bug bounty program, internal penetration tests, and automated security tools. Influence engineering priorities by conducting design and roadmap reviews, clearly communicating security constraints, and supporting teams in making informed decisions. Act as a subject matter expert during investigations of product security incidents, utilizing logs and monitoring tools. Develop and present training sessions to educate engineers on secure coding practices and emerging threats. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to maintain Asana’s robust security posture. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop both immediate and long-term risk management strategies. Join a collaborative security team made up of specialists in product security, application security, software engineering, infrastructure, and detection and response, all dedicated to helping engineering teams design and deliver secure software.

We are on the hunt for a passionate Security Engineer to join our Red Team in Warsaw. In this pivotal role, you will become an essential member of our security operations within a vital engineering hub. You will collaborate directly with IT, infrastructure, and product teams to design and deliver secure software solutions. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing our security practices through comprehensive security reviews and penetration testing of our products and internal applications, effectively mitigating various classes of vulnerabilities while instilling a security-first approach across the organization.

This position is based in our Warsaw office, following a hybrid work model with designated in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

We provide a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland.
