Role overview

The Regional CDL A Tanker Driver position is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Drivers in this role handle regional routes that generally keep them on the road for 3 to 5 days before returning home. Both short and longer-haul assignments are available to accommodate different preferences and career plans.

What you will do

  • Operate tanker trucks to transport bulk liquid materials with a focus on safety
  • Load and unload cargo using hoses, pumps, and valves, following strict safety procedures
  • Complete and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and required records
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatchers and customers
  • Comply with all DOT, EPA, and applicable safety regulations
  • Represent Altom Transport professionally during customer interactions
