Role overview
This regional owner operator - tanker driver position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Drivers typically spend 3 to 5 days on the road per run, with the benefit of returning home every few days. The role is designed for those who want steady regional work while maintaining regular time at home.
Main responsibilities
- Transport chemical and petroleum products safely, following all DOT and Hazmat regulations.
- Keep your truck in excellent working order and ensure it meets all inspection requirements.
- Handle loading and unloading of ISO/Flexi-Bag or tanker shipments, using proper procedures at each site.
- Maintain accurate logs, complete required paperwork, and follow compliance standards.
- Represent Altom Transport with professionalism at customer locations.
- Manage business operations such as fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to support earning potential.
- Meet mileage or hour requirements to maintain a steady workload and support operational goals.
- Remain available for work as needed, including around-the-clock operations when required.
