Role overview

This Regional Owner Operator - Tanker Driver position is based out of Cleveland, Ohio. Routes are regional, with trips typically lasting 3 to 5 days, allowing drivers to be home every few days.

Main responsibilities

Transport chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while following all DOT regulations
Maintain trucks and equipment to meet inspection standards and ensure readiness for the road
Handle loading and unloading procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag and tanker operations at pickup and delivery locations
Keep accurate logs, complete required paperwork, and adhere to Hazmat compliance requirements
Represent Altom Transport with professionalism at customer sites
Manage business activities such as fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to optimize revenue
Meet mileage or hourly minimums to maintain a steady workload
Be available for 24/7 operations as needed
