Your Driving Opportunity

    • Home every few days (typically between 3 to 5 days out at a time).

Key Responsibilities

As an Owner Operator Driver at Altom Transport, you will take on the role of a business owner and a vital partner in our operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Safe Transportation: Transporting chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while strictly following DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in optimal condition for successful long-haul operations.
  • Loading & Unloading: Adhering to proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations during loading and delivery.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Keeping accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and complying with Hazmat regulations.
  • Customer Service: Professionally representing Altom Transport at all customer locations.
  • Business Management: Overseeing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to optimize revenue.
  • Maintaining a consistent workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to the success of the operation.
  • Availability for 24/7 operations when needed.
