Responsibilities

As an Owner Operator Driver with Altom Transport, you are not just a driver; you are a business owner and an integral partner in our operations. Your responsibilities encompass:

  • Safe Transportation: Transporting chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while strictly adhering to DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and is maintained in peak condition for successful long-haul operations.
  • Loading & Unloading: Following established procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery points.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Keeping accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and complying with Hazmat regulations.
  • Customer Service: Representing Altom Transport in a professional manner at all customer locations.
  • Business Management: Overseeing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
  • Maintaining a steady workload by fulfilling mileage or hour requirements to contribute to the overall success of the operation.
  • 24/7 Operation – Availability when needed.
