Overview

The Regional Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving targeted, profitable sales growth through our regional broker network. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales, this position emphasizes the recruitment, training, and support of independent health brokers who sell Optimyl's products.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Make over 40 outbound calls daily to engage with the broker market
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key brokers while training them on the company's products, positioning, and processes
  • Recruit new brokers through referrals, industry listings, and proactive outreach
  • Assess broker performance and continually expand the broker network
  • Provide exceptional support to broker partners with quoting and underwriting
  • Assist brokers in crafting effective selling strategies to attract potential employer clients
  • Communicate timely updates on product offerings, network changes, rates, and plan designs
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to guarantee seamless service for sold accounts
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and achieve daily activity metrics
  • Travel within the region as necessary to strengthen key broker relationships

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous sales experience or a strong desire to launch a sales career (health insurance experience preferred, but not required)
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calls and relationship-building
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished phone presence
  • Motivated by performance-based compensation and clear objectives

Salary

Base salary plus uncapped commission.
