Key ResponsibilitiesExecute 40+ outbound calls daily to engage the broker market. Establish and nurture relationships with target brokers, providing comprehensive training on our products, positioning, and processes. Recruit new brokers via referrals, industry listings, and proactive outreach. Assess broker performance and consistently recruit additional brokers to enhance our network. Deliver exceptional support to broker partners, including assistance with quoting and underwriting. Guide broker partners in formulating effective selling strategies to attract potential employer clients. Communicate promptly regarding product offerings, network updates, rates, and plan designs. Work collaboratively with Account Managers to ensure seamless service for sold accounts. Maintain precise CRM data and achieve daily activity targets. Travel as needed within the region to strengthen key broker relationships. Ideal Candidate ProfileSales experience or a strong desire to embark on a sales career (health insurance experience is advantageous but not mandatory). Comfortable with high-volume outbound communication and relationship development. Self-driven with the ability to excel independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, showcasing a professional phone presence. Driven by performance-based compensation and clearly defined objectives.

Position Overview

The Regional Sales Representative will play a critical role in generating profitable sales through the regional broker community, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales. This position emphasizes recruiting, training, and supporting a network of independent health brokers who promote Optimyl's products.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Des Moines, IA.
