Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Patience, empathy, and strong teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a tuberculosis test if not done in the last year. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements such as sitting, squatting, and lifting. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As a Behavior Technician, you will receive thorough training to ensure you are well-prepared to support each child, regardless of your prior experience. The role requires physical agility, as you will engage in activities that involve standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs is essential, as their behavior can be unpredictable.
