In this rewarding position, you will work directly with children, employing personalized behavior intervention strategies under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based methods to foster communication, social interaction, and daily living skills while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek individuals who are dedicated to helping children with autism achieve their utmost potential. Ideal candidates will possess patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit. Comprehensive training will be provided, empowering you to assist each child, regardless of prior experience. As working with children can be dynamic and sometimes unpredictable, physical stamina is crucial; you should be comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
