Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.2-5 years of experience in pipeline compliance. Proficient in managing and organizing documentation and records. Self-motivated with minimal supervision required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation abilities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of DOT regulations, including but not limited to 49 CFR 191, 192, 195, and 199.Understanding of Texas Railroad Commission regulations, including but not limited to 16 TAC Chapters 3, 7, and 8.

Job Summary:
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance for natural gas transmission pipeline systems. This position is vital for maintaining adherence to federal and state pipeline safety regulations and will report directly to the Regulatory Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic reviews of procedures and work practices to ensure regulatory compliance and assist in developing corrective actions for any identified deficiencies.
  • Act as a liaison with PHMSA and relevant state pipeline safety regulatory agencies to facilitate inspections, investigations, and audits.
  • Assist in the preparation and timely submission of mandatory regulatory reports in line with federal and state regulations.
  • Oversee the completion and documentation of recurring scheduled maintenance.
  • Analyze findings from audits conducted by external state and federal agencies and provide recommendations for internal procedures or compliance manuals.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed in accordance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory, and tariff requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with Operations and Engineering teams to identify potential risk areas and offer guidance on local and federal regulatory codes.
  • Effectively communicate activities to relevant personnel in both oral and written formats.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
