THE ROLE
As a per diem Emergency Veterinarian at VEG, your passion for helping pets and their people will shine through, especially in their most desperate moments. We support you in becoming a confident and skilled ER professional, guiding your career towards new and exciting paths. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to medical inquiries via phone.
- Provide immediate care for patients as part of the VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, our innovative, client-centered approach that ensures timely consultations and allows families to remain with their pets.
- Collect essential information including signalment, presenting complaint, vital signs, and perform physical examinations.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, blood tests, and biopsies as necessary.
- Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to each patient.
