KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit proficiency in performing tasks related to job responsibilities and departmental services for diverse customer populations.
- Following appropriate training, assist in patient positioning for MRI and/or CT examinations.
- Employ venipuncture techniques to support CT and MRI technicians as required.
- Familiarize yourself with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Utilize experience and judgment to achieve defined goals.
- Perform various tasks to assist remote technologists effectively.
- Provide operational support to other staff and the site as necessary in daily imaging center activities.
- Assist in patient positioning during MRI for the ROCC team.
- Conduct patient screenings.
- Initiate IVs and administer contrast as needed.
- Document all patient information in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
