As a Research Engineer specializing in Neural Rendering, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of multi-sensor rendering systems for autonomous driving. Collaborating with our esteemed team of scientists and engineers, you will design innovative, practical, and scalable rendering and content creation solutions for self-driving technology. We prioritize originality, high-impact ideas, and thorough experimental validation.

Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Research Scientists and Engineers to create a premier multi-sensor simulation stack.
- Employ state-of-the-art techniques in reconstruction, neural rendering, and generative AI to develop large-scale, efficient digital twins using real-world camera, LiDAR, and RADAR data. You'll be contributing to the next-generation simulation software that blends traditional real-time rendering with NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting, diffusion models, and more.
- Work alongside Waabi’s autonomy and safety teams to enhance the realism and diversity of Waabi World.
- Contribute to impactful research papers submitted to prestigious conferences or journals such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICRA, and RA-L.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Shipping Production Software. You have a strong background in developing production-quality software rather than just prototypes or proofs of concept. You are adept at working with large datasets for machine learning applications.
- In-depth knowledge of ML or neural rendering. You possess a comprehensive understanding of modern machine learning (including diffusion models and vision foundational models) or neural rendering (like NeRF and 3DGS) systems, recognizing the limitations and trade-offs of various methods.
