Role Overview
As a Research Scientist on our Public Sector team, you will play a crucial role in adapting Twelve Labs' video AI solutions for essential government applications. Your focus will be on leveraging our video intelligence technology for classified and government-specific use cases, including model training, fine-tuning, and evaluations aligned with operational needs.
You will serve as the principal research scientist for the Public Sector team, connecting our leading-edge multimodal AI research with the unique demands of U. S. federal, defense, and intelligence community clients. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct operational impact and shape the foundational elements of this applied science practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize Twelve Labs' video understanding and multimodal models for government-specific applications, including defense and intelligence analysis.
- Conduct training and fine-tuning experiments utilizing advanced GPU infrastructure.
- Develop specialized supervised fine-tuning pipelines for government datasets and annotation workflows.
- Design and implement rigorous evaluation processes to ensure model efficacy for governmental use.
