The Sensors Division at Systems Technology Research (STR) is dedicated to pioneering technology for advanced sensor systems and platforms that bolster national security. Our work encompasses a diverse array of critical areas including airborne, surface, and space-based radar, electronic warfare, underwater acoustics, hyperspectral imaging, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensing technologies. We are engaged in full system prototypes, experimental campaigns, and the development of next-gen technology components. Key technical domains include RF analog/digital hardware, acoustic hardware, signal processing algorithms, machine learning, tracking and fusion technologies, autonomous systems, and real-time embedded processor implementation.
Your Role:
We are seeking a skilled Researcher to become a vital part of our high-performing Systems Autonomy, Analysis, and Modeling (SAAM) Group. In this role, you will collaborate with scientists and engineers to design mission-critical scenarios, enhance complex simulation frameworks, and derive actionable insights from simulation outcomes. This position balances hands-on technical development, such as coding new functionalities and integrating models, with analytical reasoning to interpret results and effectively communicate findings to a variety of stakeholders, including program managers and senior leadership.
