Viant Technology is hiring a Revenue Operations Manager to help strengthen and expand go-to-market strategies. This position works closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional partners to improve pipeline management, forecasting, compensation, and analytics. The role is based in either Chicago, IL or New York, NY.
As a key advisor to go-to-market leaders, the Revenue Operations Manager brings structure and analytical insight to business decisions. The focus is on increasing efficiency, supporting growth, and ensuring transparency throughout revenue operations. Core responsibilities include designing compensation plans, refining reporting systems, and managing the technology stack that supports the revenue organization.
Revenue Operations Leadership
- Collaborate with the Director of Revenue Operations to manage and improve core RevOps processes, such as pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and deal execution.
- Work with Sales Leadership to maintain pipeline health, improve forecast accuracy, and support operational routines.
- Act as an operational advisor to GTM leaders, highlighting risks and opportunities as they emerge.
- Design, implement, and oversee variable compensation plans that align sales performance with company objectives.
- Manage MBOs, SPIFFs, and STIPs, assess their effectiveness, and recommend enhancements.
Data, Systems, and Tools
- Maintain data accuracy and governance in Salesforce and across the GTM tech stack, including Highspot and Gong.
- Develop and support reporting infrastructure for compensation, forecasting, and performance management.
- Work with Systems and IT teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and scale tools as the business grows.
- Use advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to analyze, validate, and visualize large data sets for actionable insights.
- Evaluate and implement tools, including AI-powered solutions, to enhance revenue workflows and productivity.
Analytics and Insights
- Create and manage dashboards and reports on pipeline, performance, compensation, and revenue trends.
- Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
