RequirementsMinimum of three years of experience in RF engineering, ideally in a production-focused environment. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in RF testing and characterization of submodules (e.g., gain, radiation patterns, phase, spurious signals), particularly in the X-band and Ku-band frequencies. Proficient in designing, specifying, and validating custom RF test setups. Experience with Electronic Manufacturing Services and box-build manufacturing environments. Strong interest in radar systems and phased-array architectures. Pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership. Fluency in English is essential. Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

As an RF Manufacturing & Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our radar technology by acting as the technical liaison between our R&D team and manufacturing partners.

Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that intricate RF designs are transformed into reliable and repeatable production processes, thereby ensuring manufacturability and testability on a large scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing and testing strategies for RF submodules, guiding them from prototype to full production.

  • Design, specify, and validate custom RF test setups for submodule production and acceptance testing.

  • Transfer RF test setups, procedures, and documentation to Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and box-build partners.

  • Assist manufacturing partners throughout the ramp-up phase, production, and troubleshooting of issues.

  • Maintain technical ownership of RF submodule test coverage, calibration limits, and yield optimization.

  • Work collaboratively with RF designers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to testing standards.

  • Analyze production test data and champion improvements in testing methodologies and RF performance.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of testing protocols, acceptance criteria, and production guidelines.
