RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead program-level decisions regarding RF system designs. Investigate innovative solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems. Develop, validate, and automate RF test benches for comprehensive characterization of custom RF designs, utilizing tools such as vector network analyzers (VNA), vector signal generators (VSG), vector signal analyzers (VSA), spectrum analyzers, and high-speed oscilloscopes. Construct modular and scalable RF test infrastructure along with automation sequences in Python and C++ for design validation, qualification, and production. Collaborate closely with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems. Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware to assess and enhance performance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 1 year of professional development experience in C/C++ or Python. A minimum of 1 year of experience with radio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and network analyzers. A minimum of 1 year of RF experience, specifically with antennas or communication systems.
